National Pie Day was a huge success. People LOVE pie. I failed at my chocolate cream pie, so my husband enjoyed it as pudding. He didn’t complain. Overall, the pies were all an enjoyable sweet flavor to the tastebuds, especially with hot coffee & tea. Pies served were as follows: Apple, Pecan, Pumpkin, Lemon Meringue, Wild Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry Rhubarb, Rum-Raisin, and Peanut-Butter-Brownie. I’m considering doing this monthly with the great response. Thank you to all who ventured out on a very cold day in Iowa. We are grateful.
