Monday morning arrives, and with it, fog, ice, winter weather moving in again, and a quiet kitchen. The week ahead has 2 events: Valentine Banquet and a Birthday Party on Saturday night. I’m only preparing candies and desserts right now, as they keep very well in a cool refrigerator. Tomorrow, I’ll do soup prep-work and put it back in the freezer. The winter blahs are filled up with tax preparations, organizing and cleaning, working on projects in the house, and more time with my Dad.
