Today I was delighted with a visit from Kristen Bruun, from Copenhagen, Denmark. She is a “Communication Intern” here in Elk Horn, Iowa at the Museum for Danish America. We had a small tea party and discussed possibilities of some events. I was thrilled to hear her speak Danish, share tea & scones with her, hear about her family back home and some of their traditions. A very special afternoon.
